Over the past few months, we have been working on increasing the compatibility of Cryptomator.

We also plan to integrate S3, as we did with our Android app. We will integrate Cryptomator into Shortcuts so that automation processes such as “auto photo upload” are possible. We have a lot more planned for the app in the coming months. With the just released version 2.2.0, we integrated pCloud and added support for shortcuts in Google Drive. Since then, we’ve been working on bringing you more features through several updates, such as the auto-lock feature that came with version 2.1.0. We also made it possible to offer you a “freemium” version of the app. One of the main features is the full integration with Apple’s own Files app. iOS VersionĪt the end of last year, we were finally able to introduce our new iOS app. With this roadmap, we want to give you an overview of what has changed in Cryptomator and what you can look forward to in the coming months.

I open my databases on my PCs only (not on my phone).There have been a lot of changes in the past year. While I might be staying with KeePass2, I just wanted to know how you do backups as 'simple' as using triggers with KeePass2. The inability to set sync triggers with KeePassXC has been keeping me from jumping ship. I've set up my triggers exactly how they do it in their example here. The one in the local folder goes to my external backup devices. Whenever I update and save my main database in Dropbox, the ones in Cloud Server 2 and in the local folder automatically sync with it. (Dropbox is my main folder because I have 2 PCs but can not manage to use Syncthing or other self-hosted solutions.) I find that sync by triggers (which can be done with KeePass2) is the best and simplest way to back up databases.Īll in all, I have 3 KDBX databases in each of my PCs: in Dropbox (my main and daily folder), in a second 'Cloud Server 2', and in a local folder. (KeePass2 because I've been on Windows before Linux.) Recently, KeePass2 has been crashing on my Linux Mint 19.2 whenever I write long entries in the 'Notes' field.
